HOLLYWOOD, Maryland, 01 October 2020 – We are proud to announce that Parraid, LLC and 5x Systems, LLC have teamed up to offer an exciting new product line that provides secure, available and reliable two-way voice and data to customers who may find themselves in places that have no cellular coverage – communications that connect anyplace in the world. 5x and Parraid have agreed to manufacture, market, and sell Vector Command, Control, Communications (C3) products, originally developed by 5x, cooperatively for U.S. and international customers.
Vector C3 products were originally designed for coastal patrol vessels operating beyond radio line of site, and beyond cellular range. Parraid is taking the original hardware design and adapting it for all users requiring positive communications in remote areas. For years, the ability to talk, chat, navigate and share positions in remote locations around the world was limited to high end military units or those who can afford expensive Satellite systems and subscriptions. The Vector C3 product line includes a new lightweight ruggedized Vector Iridium Data Link (VIDL) device. When paired with Android mobile or Windows devices, the VIDL allows users to effectively communicate data with each other on the move. Hikers, extreme explorers, all-terrain vehicle enthusiasts, rescue forces, boaters, logisticians, first responders in remote areas and flyers who find themselves in areas that do not have radio or cellular coverage can have the peace of mind that they can call or text for help or share their progress globally. Because Vector C3 products use the Iridium low earth orbit satellite constellation*, users can provide their position, chat, talk, and navigate … from pole to pole.
